Telecine stores only what it needs to work. No ads, no tracking for profit, no data sold to anyone.

1.Overview
Telecine stores only the data needed to provide the service. The App is free, shows no ads and does not sell data to anyone.
2.Data we store
When you register: your email address (for authentication) and a username you choose. Optionally, if you add them: a profile picture and a short bio. When you use the App: your viewing activity (watched episodes, ratings, diary entries, reviews, likes, watchlist, lists, favorites and follow relationships). This data is linked to your account.
3.Where it is stored
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore and — for profile pictures — Cloud Storage). Google may process this data on servers inside and outside the EU; Google's own privacy terms apply to that processing.
4.Third parties
Show metadata and images are loaded from The Movie Database (TMDB). When artwork or metadata is fetched, your IP address is technically transmitted to TMDB's servers, as with any internet request. Basic, anonymous usage statistics may be collected through Firebase Analytics to keep the App working.
5.Visibility
Your username, profile picture, bio, favorites, viewing activity, reviews and public lists are visible to other signed-in users of the App as part of its social features. Lists marked as private stay visible to you only.
6.Your rights
You can export your data and delete individual content at any time. Deleting your account removes your authentication account and your stored data from Firebase. Under the GDPR you additionally have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability.

7.Retention
Data is kept until you delete it or your account.
8.Children
The App is not directed at children under 16. Do not create an account if you are younger.
